The second-generation iPhone SE was launched on 24 April 2020, while the release date of the iPhone 6 was 6 September 2014. We can see some noticeable improvements that were featured by iPhone SE. These improvements make it better and more comfortable while using than iPhone 6.

The iPhone SE came with identical design and aerospace-grade aluminum and a glass back, glass back, which gives a better in-hand feel. iPhone SE also introduces us to splash, dust, and water-resistance redesign, but the iPhone 6 doesn’t have such advanced capability.

Though both phone shares same length of 4.7 inches IPS LCD displays in Retina HD panel with 1334*750 resolutions, 326 PPI but we can notice some advance features were added with iPhone SE such as 625 nits maximum brightness when iPhone 6 has 500 nits. So iPhone SE offers higher brightness, better color levels, better viewing angles, and better contrast than iPhone 6.

We found performance between iPhone SE and iPhone 6 has a great difference. iPhone 6 has an A8 chipset, which was extremely fast for its time. In comparison, iPhone SE has an A13 Bionic chip, which is known as the fastest chip ever used in a Smartphone. The third generation Neural engine makes sure that the iPhone SE is capable of finishing its given tasks as fast as possible, which makes it faster than any other phone such as iPhone 6.

The Hexa-core (2*2.65 GHz lightning +4*1.8 GHz Thunder) CPU of iPhone SE serves well than iPhone 6 that has Dual-core 1.4 GHz Typhoon.

Storage of iPhone SE also helps to store more apps, photos, videos, and data than iPhone 6. Because iPhone SE has 64GB/128GB/256GB of storage and 3GB RAM but iPhone 6 has 16GB/32GB/64GB/128GB storage and 1GB RAM.

iPhone 6 has a non-removable Li-po 1810 mAh battery (9,6Wh). The device offers up to 14 hours of talk-time. On the contrary, the iPhone SE provides a non-removable lithium-ion 1821mAh battery (6.96Wh) and fast charging 18W, 50% in 30 minutes. Qi wireless charging is also available in this device. This feature makes the device more comfortable while carrying outside.

The iPhone 6 offers a rear camera with 8MP and a selfie camera with 1.2MP. On the other hand, the iPhone SE has a 12MP main camera and a 7MP selfie camera. So the picture density of iPhone SE is clearer than iPhone 6.

After comparing these features, I think you should upgrade your phone if you want, then you will also be able to use such fantastic features of iPhone SE.
